Invented in 1784 by the English mathematician George Atwood, the system is used in all elevators
today.
The Parla models of the SY Easel, which works with this mechanism designed by George Atwood,
are different from all similar examples in the world.
SY Easel is designed with all the features a painter may need in mind. Beyond all the tools and
materials it uses, the easel is an assistant for the painter and an assistant that does not limit the artist's
source of inspiration, embracing and sustaining the creation process of the artwork together with the
artist.
When the surfaces of the works grow, this assistant should also be ergonomic.
Because art and the artist should never be restricted.
Our ideal is to leave the artist original, not to hinder their creativity, and not to limit the creativity of new
Picassos and Rembrandts...
Can you imagine?
If Pablo Picasso had painted his 3.5 x 7.7 meter "Guernica" and Rembrandt had painted his 3.63 x
4.37 meter "The Night Watch" on an SY Easel, he would have been able to lift these gigantic
paintings up and down and move them left and right without any help from anyone.
SY Easel Parla; PE-90, 120, 150 models are produced in 3 different sizes. You can determine the model that will
meet your needs from the technical details of the easels. However, the canvas height in the PE-150 model is
produced with a maximum opening of 245 cm as standard. However, if requested, this intermediate opening
height can optionally be produced to increase up to 375 cm.
SY Easel's Parla model is made of IROKO wood. The wooden frames where the canvas will be placed consist of
two parts and allow you to work in three different sizes.
The folding shelf system in the wooden frame provides convenience for your work with its two-stage function.
SY Easel's bottom carrier leg is made of iron reinforced fiberglass.
Your easel has 4 wheels, 2 with brakes and 2 without brakes.
The cabinet behind the easel has 5 drawers and 1 door section and is designed for you to stack all your
equipment and materials you use while making your work and to access them easily
